Why the name "Procyon"?
Why the name "Procyon"?
I'll enjoy the answer to this one too, although it's the Proteus that's really got me baffled.
All the other products, Orion, Sirius, Procyon, are astronomical (Orion is odd man out as a constellation, the other being stars). While Proteus is a Greek God, although it's the root of 'protean' which generally means 'versatile', so it makes sense, but doesn't fit the pattern.
So guys, what's the story behind it all?
Cheers,
Craig
The Procyon is the brightest star in Canis Minor. :-) Yes, they all have a astronomical/mythological theme.
