Crashed my computer

I followed the directions and tried to install the software.
downloaded the files and ran the program. then connected the proteus, windows (i have xp) found new hardware and ran the wizard. it wouldn't find the software and i didn't have directions on where to find the drivers (i don't think it told me where it unzipped/extracted the files to), so then i quit the wizard (without installing the drivers) and my explorer bar at the bottom of the screen (where the start menu is) went out and never came back. i did a hard shut off and when i tried to restart it went to a prompt asking me to start windows normally (doesn't work), at previous settings (which i tried but it doesn't work. gives me blue screen of death) or safe mode, safe mode with command prompt or safe mode with networking (none of which work). i can see it loading drivers and it pauses after btkrnl.sys then goes to blue screen of death with "stop 0x0000008E" and "win32k.sys" showing as a problem.

Proteus or Procyon? Proteus uses no drivers.
