Thread: The Procyon ActiveX object

  1. Default The Procyon ActiveX object

I've heard mention before in this forum about an ActiveX object for the Procyon that is available for people who want to try their hand at developing their own application to access the Procyon.

Could I have more information about this object?

If it's the standard COM type implementation, I could access it from Python using the WIN32 extensions.

I've looked in a COM object browser, but I can't seem to see anything that looks familiar - I'm assuming it's something that's installed with the Procyon editor.

Any information you could give on this would be handy to me.

    Regards
    Caleb

Hi, Caleb--we haven't posted the control for open access as yet, but if you send me (in a PM) your email address I'll send it to you.

Hi Caleb, did you ever get Python working with the ActiveX control? I was thinking of something very similar.
