    Hi All,

    Newbie here.

I just got my Procyon a few days ago. I had the same question about downloading NP3 sessions to the Procyon, and then realized that it doesn't work that way. Too bad!

I have almost gotten the NP3 AudioStrobe to play from my PC to the Procyon. The soud is OK, I think. The lights are on and flashing, but all I get are green and red flashing several times a second. The colors and patters and frequencies do not seem to change. It is like that with more than one AudioStrobe session I have played around with. I assume there is some kind of error as this response is so much more anemic that the sessions on the Procyon.

Sound familar? Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks for your help.

You have run the AudioStrobe setup wizard in NeuroProgrammer and it sets up correctly? Try to choose a slower session like one for Sleep where the flashes of light are slower. Then you can more easily tell if they are reacting. If it is the same fast noisy type pattern then it is probably hum interference from the laptop audio output. You can purchase a cheap inline filter which helps a lot. Also, many times the noise floor can be adjusted in the Procyon editor. I really need to make a quick video or tutorial on how to do that..

    Welcome, Rex!

You can use the Procyon Editor to select which two colors can be mapped onto the two AS control signals, and set them as default in your Procyon. So, they can be R+G, R+B, or G+B, and respond to NP3 or any other AS source with your preferred color mapping.

    Thanks, guys!

As I am new to this, I don't know what the lights are supposed to do or look like. I just noticed, as I said, that the AS sessions only used read and green and didn't seem to be doing very much compared to the sessions loaded on the Procyon. Although it is a bit of a disappointment, it seems like what I am getting out of AS is what is to be expected.
