Download intructions for Dummies

Can anyone spare the time to talk me step by step into being able to download my extra sessions into the proteus?
I am going from article to article reading but get very confused as so many of them are talking about constructing new sessions then downloading them but I only want to download straight in.

The session editor is very difficult to understand.
I know I have some already in my utility memory (the ones I shared with you all ) but I do not know which ones are which as one out would make them all out if you see what I mean.
I need to download them all again so that they over write the existing ones.
I really struggle I am afraid.

Hi Moonchild;

If you check out the Proteus Session Editor Manual, downloadable from the support site: http://www.mindplacesupport.com/Proteus.htm, and go to page 6, item #6, called "Transfer it to Proteus" has the step-by-step method for uploading a single session to the Proteus.

For item "d" in that list which says:

Choose Open New Album, then locate and select the session you’ve just created

Since you're not creating a session, just locate and select the pre-made session you want to upload.

Note that when you upload a session, it will clear out all other sessions from that bank. i.e. if you upload 1 session to the "Uxx" (User) bank, that will be the only session in that bank. The "Pxx" (Program) bank will not be touched.

If you want to upload many sessions to the Proteus, continue on to page 7 which explains Albums.
