Audiostrobe compatibility L-R Phase??
I have a question about the way the Procyon audiostrobe works. It was my understanding that the standard audiostrobe signal controlled the left led with the left audio channel frequency modulation and the right with the right audio. In the editor adjustment panel for the audiostobe it seems each channel is assigned to a color, thus allowing 2 channels sent to both led sides, but this would mean it would not be possible for example to produce left right led intensity phase differences. Also wouldn?t that mean audiostrobe content designed to control left right intensity wouldn?t function correctly.
Re: Audiostrobe compatibility L-R Phase??
Hello and Welcome!
It's true, the Procyon has 3 separate circuits which connect to the Red, Green and Blue LEDs in the 3-colour Procyon Ganzframes. The Kasina also has left/right as well, but that's not what you're asking about!
So, to do Left/Right with the Procyon, you would need Ganzframes that are wired with left/right circuits. Any of the mono-colour Ganzframes are wired that way. If you were to purchase a set of mono-colour Ganzframes, then the "left" Audiostrobe signal would control the left LEDs, and the "right" Audiostrobe signal would control the right.
You can purchase mono-colour Ganzframes here.
