Sound only

Hello :D
I already was told by Marisa that I can use the Proteus sound only 21 -27 but I was wondering if I can use it sound only for relaxation to calm nerves sound only?
Any help much appreciated :)

I think you misunderstood me. I apologise for not being more clear. I may have told you what programs I used only the sound for and enjoyed the results. You can use the sound only on any of the programs you want.

Do you know if it is as effective or only slightly less? Today I got some bad news and was strung up and wondered if I could use the sound only on one of the calming sessions. I take it from this that I can :-)

Sorry you got bad news - that sucks. As for how effective the sound is, it really depends on the person. There's no harm in trying it. Hope it works for you.

Sound only will be as effective as any other binaural or entrainment tone session. You can also mix in the music of your choosing for a more personal experience. On the Proteus you can use the USr Mode to set the audio frequency and entrainment beats exactly as you need or prefer. Put the Proteus in USr mode by pressing the middle button 3 times. When you push the play button the audio will begin and the display will show the current entrainment frequency setting.

You can raise the frequency by pushing the lowest button (arrow). You can lower the frequency by holding in the lower button and pushing the play button at the same time. By holding in the middle button and pushing the arrow button at the same time you can raise the pitch of the audio. When it reaches its highest setting it will roll over and begin at the lowest frequency again. This way you can interactively choose the pitch that is most comfortable to you.

You might want to start out at around 10Hz and then as you begin to relax take the session frequency lower and lower. With a little practice and experimentation you can dial in the Alpha frequencies (and others) that have the greatest effect for you.
