Weaver session audio track
Most of the audio tracks are great, but I loved the one of the weaver session in mind art. I am learning to play the silver flute and would love to be able to play ethnic style music with traditional flutes one day - like the one in weaver. Do you know what kind of flute is the one on this track? Is it a bansuri or a nay perhaps? Thanks!
Re: Weaver session audio track
It is a sampled Persian ney. That track is modeled after the style of Robert Rich who is one of my ambient music heroes. I am deeply drawn to this style in a way that makes my soul sing. I absolutely love frame drums too.
Best,
Scott

Thank you, lovely instrument and I will look Robert Rich up on youtube.
Anyway, although this is not the subject of the forum, I recommend the track "song of the butterfly" to you and all the forum members and daydreamers out there, look it up on youtube (add hungary 2014). Peace!

Robert Rich is cool. I sadly missed his gigs when I lived in Sedona. I'll love to attend one of his all-nighters. His latest album - Filaments is excellent. His classic, imo, is Somnium which got repackaged as Perpetual:
