tip for marketing dept

if anyone cares why i chose the procyon over several other units i was considering at the moment, the usb connector put it over the top. i have gps units and ham radios and scanners and other gadgets that need the usb/rs232 serial adaptors and they are a fantastic pain to use. especially in emulation (and yes i realize that with intel chips in macs it's no longer strictly 'emulation' but that is the legacy term. perhaps 'virtualization' will take its place) as that is the way i sometimes have to use them given i have a mac.

and i've been proven 'right' in that aspect of the decision as the procyon was no problem whatsoever to connect to my pc once i convinced the drivers they wanted to live there and i've already used the editor and updated the firmware.
